"She is worth far more than Rubies" Proverbs 31:10

Guys don't go around buying your affections with the rubies and jewels and diamonds as tokens of your worth. Especially these broke college kids.

We find ourselves swooning and fluttering over fancies of the images of Men that we paint ourselves. But when these men don't meet up to our images and portrayals that we created of them, we search and hunt and dig for the faults in us.

What is it about us that we aren't worth the rubies. Or even an affectionate or compassionate "Hello". We run. Tirelessly searching for the reasons as to why we are not enough. As women of God, we have grown into the obsession of becoming like the continued talk about the Women of the Bible. Be brave. Like Esther. Be Loyal. Like Ruth. Be perfect. Like the Proverbs 31 Woman.

We have all been there. Proverbs 31. Perfection. Achieve it. Strive for it. Go for it. Fail.
Fail? Impossible. Unattainable? Give up? Bring me down.

Mary? You want me to be Mary? And Ruth, and Esther. Turn around and be change your life. Revert from old and into new. Be Rahab! Proverbs 31. Throw me an apple and call me Eve. I have failed and am not the woman they say I was created to be

Fortunately for us. Our God is greater than our mistakes and weaknesses.

Great! That is what we want you here for. Our next video will follow up on why our mistakes do not define us or restrict us from achieving the goal of becoming the Women God has designed us to be.
